PSV License
PSV (Public Service Vehicle) License under category TEKSI/KERETA SEWA/E-HAILING is compulsory for all e-hailing drivers
E-Hailing Insurance
Contact your vehicle insurance service provide about daily/annual e-hailing coverage. Grab has partner with most of the insurance provides around Malaysia.
Puspakom Inspection
E-Hailing inspection to be performed at nearest Puspakom branch. Only vehicle aged 2-years-6-months and above required to go for inspection.
Grab EVP (E-Hailing Vehicle Permit)
Your registration admin will process your Grab EVP application with APAD once you have completed your application via the SIGN UP button.
Reimbursement Program
All new applicants who obtain their PSV License are entitled for reimbursement.
- Applicants completed PSV License with any non Grab-Panel driving institutes in Malaysia will be reimbursed a maximum of RM100 after account activation.
- Applicants completed PSV License with Grab will be reimbursed a maximum of RM150 after account activation. In short, the PSV license is FREE.
All newly activated GrabCar drivers with vehicle older than two and half years are eligible to claim their first Puspakom E-Hailing inspection at RM70.
Cost of EVP (E-Hailing Vehicle Permit) RM115 will be covered by Grab as well.

*If your car model is NOT listed in this Rejected Cars List, it means it is currently accepted in Grab.
**Vehicles manufactured in 2009 and above will be accepted until further notice from the relevant parties. Existing driver-partners may continue with their current registered vehicles until further notice as well.
The addition or removal of car model is subjected to Grab’s discretion. All decisions made by Grab are final and binding.
Grab operates 24-hour 7-days a week. Driver able to be online and drive at anytime based on their own schedule.

Grab Driver Potential Income
On average, driver able to generate RM20-40 per hour depends on the demand.
It is totally up to the driver how much they want to generate for the week.

GrabCar Driver Registration (Additional Requirements)
12th October 2019 onwards, all e-hailing drivers are required to have PSV License (Public Service Vehicle) – Teksi/Kereta Sewa/E-hailing.
Every vehicles registered for Grab and other e-hailing purposes must have E-Hailing Insurance and EVP (E-Hailing Vehicle Permit)
After you have submitted via the registration form in this website, our admin will assist you on your PSV license and Grab EVP application.
Yes you can. GrabCar drivers are allowed to operate with cars not under their ownership with the terms below:
Requirements:
- The GrabCar driver’s name must be stated inside the insurance covernote.
- Insurance Covernote is covered under ALL DRIVER/ANY AUTHORISED DRIVER/AUTHORISED DRIVER
